Industrial Engineering/Administration/ Systems

• Ensure the timely supply of productive and as required material in order to avoid shortages and prevent the production line from stopping.
• Avoid generating AETCs in general.
• Prevent negative records and out‑of‑balance parts.
• Maintain low inventory levels both On Hand and In Yard.
• Maximize the disposal of obsolete material.
• Work with the following systems:
  • Online (Stock Status, MIP3 Epics, Critical Shortages)
  • Champs (under‑ and over‑shipments, shipment tracking)
  • PC Portal (Follow‑up)

Records

• Audit material verification to ensure receipts are captured correctly.
• Help correct issues from the EIPCS group to ensure quality counts and recounts.
• Maintain communication with involved departments so the disposition of non‑conforming material occurs in the proper timeframe.
• Analyze EPICS counts to correct records in the right time and quantity.
• Meet the established record‑related objectives and ensure the best performance of the department.

Scorecard

• Analyze the weekly balance‑to‑excess report to obtain information on potentially obsolete material.
• Develop a database of dual tables to determine the amounts of potentially obsolete material.
• Coordinate a weekly meeting with the follow‑up team, controllership, production control staff, and engineering to manage the disposition of material regarding all items to be declared definitively obsolete.
• Gather information on material declared definitively obsolete.
• Request that all material be properly identified and counted in the materials‑handling area to provide correct locations.
• Perform all necessary adjustments to On‑Hands, locations, and part descriptions.
• Prepare information for the controllership and government relations areas to obtain the required permits for material destruction, after their audit.
• Obtain destruction authorization from government relations.
