HANOVER, PA

Operate and maintain assigned folder to production and quality standards and customer specifications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform set-up and operate the folder consistent with customer specifications, approved samples, and quality standards
• Complete test runs to ensure correct set-up of equipment and proper placement of cuts, scores, and folds
• Meet deadlines and schedules issued by customers (internal and external)
• Perform proper preventative maintenance procedures on bindery equipment as required
• Follow all required safety procedures such as: PPEs, Ergonomics, etc.
• Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
• Assist with housekeeping in the bindery area
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience working in manufacturing
• Mechanical ability with knowledge and understanding of hand tools used in Bindery
• Attentive to deadlines and schedules issued by customers (internal and external)
• Good math skills

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Prior Bindery experience
• Knowledge of a variety of small hand tools and precision measuring devices

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing on production floor
• Must be able to frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
