We are seeking an energetic and service-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to support the daily operations of Niagara Brewing Company. This role is responsible for assisting with front-of-house operations in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and bar environment while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong team leadership, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, thrives in a lively atmosphere, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise daily front-of-house restaurant operations to ensure efficient and smooth service
• Support back-of-house coordination and communicate effectively with kitchen and management teams
• Ensure high standards of food quality, beverage service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained
• Lead, coach, and motivate associates while promoting company standards and teamwork
• Assist with staff scheduling, shift supervision, and daily operational tasks
• Monitor restaurant flow and guest experience during high-volume service periods
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, grooming, and uniform standards
• Assist with inventory counts, ordering supplies, restocking, and maintaining proper product levels
• Support opening, closing, and cash handling procedures as required
• Ensure all Point of Sale procedures are followed accurately
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory or management experience in the food service or hospitality industry
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, bar, brewery, or entertainment venue preferred
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service and hospitality
• Working knowledge of computerized Point of Sale systems; Micros experience considered an asset
• Smart Serve Certification required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment
• Graduate of a Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Hotel & Restaurant Management program preferred
• Must be available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
