About the Role

We are currently seeking a Foetal Blood Serum (FBS)Technician to join our team at JBS Dinmore. Reporting to the Foetal Blood Supervisor, this role plays a critical part in the collection, processing and quality assurance of serum products used in specialised applications.

• Full-time, ongoing position
• Rostered days: Tuesday to Saturday
• Staggered start times from 6am or later
• Occasional overtime may be required based on production volumes
• Strict adherence to rostered days and start times is essential

As an FBS Technician, you will be involved in a range of production and laboratory support activities, ensuring serum products are processed safely, efficiently and in accordance with strict quality requirements. Your responsibilities will include inspecting blood bags for integrity and contamination, performing centrifugation and extraction processes, and carrying out quality control testing to support product compliance and traceability.

Attention to detail will be essential as you maintain accurate production records, labelling and batch documentation while adhering to established procedures and quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment through the cleaning and sanitisation of equipment, workstations and controlled areas, helping to ensure the integrity of both products and processes.

Working within a highly regulated environment, you will be expected to consistently follow GMP, GLP, biosafety and PPE requirements, while contributing to a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement. You will also assist with troubleshooting and investigating process deviations, playing an important role in supporting operational efficiency and product excellence.
