We are looking for a reliable and experienced FOD Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the overall appearance and sanitation of the workplace, contributing to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Hourly Pay: $23.79

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Shift: Mon-Sun (10pm-6:30am)

• *Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) inspections and removal to maintain safe operational environments. FOD may include loose hardware, pavement fragments, catering materials, building supplies, rocks, sand, luggage debris, wildlife, and other misplaced objects that may cause equipment damage or safety hazards. Responsibilities may include terminal gates, cargo aprons, taxiways, runways, run-up pads, and interior facilities.
• *Perform routine janitorial services, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, pressure washing, stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• *Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash, debris, and materials such as wood pallets in accordance with established procedures.
• *Safely operate and maintain cleaning tools, machinery, and vehicles, including industrial vacuums, hand trucks, vans, and other equipment as required.
• *Mix and use cleaning solutions and chemical agents in accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines to prevent damage and ensure compliance.
• *Move equipment, furniture, and supplies manually or using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• *Monitor facilities and operational areas to ensure compliance with safety and security procedures, including identifying hazards and securing areas when required.
• *Report maintenance concerns, safety issues, or repair needs promptly to supervisors or management.
• *Maintain appropriate inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
• *Establish and maintain professional and effective working relationships with passengers, co-workers, supervisors, managers, and airport personnel.
• *Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the Company, its Clients, airport authorities, and regulatory agencies.
• *Perform miscellaneous or additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1-2 years of experience required and, on the job, training provided
• High school diploma, GED or college degree required

Must have a valid Driver's License Card

Must be able to pull, push, and lift more than 75 pounds.

Walking and standing all day

General cleaning or sanitation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1-2 years of similar work experience
