Job Description

As an FMEA Moderator (m/f/d), you take on a key role in strengthening product and process robustness across the organization. You guide cross‑functional teams through structured risk analyses, ensure that critical failures are identified early and addressed effectively, and promote a strong, method‑driven quality culture. Your expertise directly supports safe, reliable and mature product development while shaping quality standards across all functions.

YOUR TASKS

  • Moderate cross‑functional FMEA workshops and ensure the consistent application of established methodology
  • Identify potential failure modes throughout product and process development and initiate effective mitigation measures
  • Drive early‑phase risk identification to eliminate or control critical failures across design, industrialization and operations
  • Act as a methodological coach and strengthen the company‑wide FMEA community through training and best‑practice sharing
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and adjacent quality processes
  • Ensure high‑quality documentation, traceability and transparency across all FMEA activities
  • Promote a strong, visible quality mindset and support strategic improvement initiatives across the organization

YOUR PROFILE

  • Technical or scientific degree or an equivalent qualification with relevant industry experience
  • Several years of experience in product, process or quality‑related functions, ideally with a focus on FMEA moderation
  • Solid expertise in FMEA methodology (Design and Process FMEA) and other quality tools
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to guide diverse teams and drive structured decision‑making
  • Analytical, systematic and self‑driven working style with high standards for quality and detail
  • Fluent English skills (spoken and written); additional German or Spanish is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a multiplier for quality‑driven practices
