Fork Lift Truck Driver

Location: Marchington (easily accessible from Burton upon Trent, Uttoxeter, Derby and surrounding villages)

Pay Rate: £15.17 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:00pm

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Hunters 4 Staff is recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to join a busy warehouse operation in Marchington. This is a great opportunity for someone with a valid Teletruck or Counterbalance licence who wants to develop their skills, with full Teletruck conversion training provided. You'll be part of a supportive team, helping to keep goods moving safely and efficiently within a large warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Teletruck forklift safely to load, unload and move goods throughout the warehouse.
• Carry out daily pre-use checks and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Load and unload large parts from vehicles, ensuring goods are handled correctly.
• Stack and store products safely and accurately in designated locations.
• Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, organised work area.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence accredited by ITSSAR or RTITB.
• Previous experience operating a Teletruck or Counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently when required.
• Teletruck experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
