We are looking for an Hydraulic Flow Survey Data V & V Technician to support the collection, monitoring, and reporting of environmental and operational data across our client’s water and wastewater networks.

This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone starting a career in the water or environmental sector. You will work alongside experienced analysts and engineers, helping to ensure environmental data is accurate, timely, and supports regulatory compliance and operational decision-making.

  • Review and validate hydraulic flow survey data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify flow, level, and rainfall monitoring data against quality standards.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent, or anomalous data and investigate potential causes.
  • Clean and prepare datasets for hydraulic modelling and engineering analysis.
  • Assist in producing data validation reports and maintaining quality records.
  • Work with engineers to resolve data quality issues and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Use spreadsheets and specialist software to analyse and manage monitoring data.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, client specifications, and health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and project records.
