PRIMARY PURPOSE: Lay out and build floors using the jig, install heat duct, insulation and paint frames.
JOB DUTIES:
Cut and build side rails to length of box using gang nail press
Load jig with joists, furnace blocks and cut outs per print and per wind zone requirements
Secure all joists per print and per DAPIA
Make up heat duct, close both ends, wrap with insulation and install per prints
Roll out and staple bottom board (patch hole for crossover duct for double-wide)
Roll out insulation per thermal zone requirements
Install frame and lag to floor joists and paint
Clean area daily
Secure all dogs, lift and flip jig with hydraulic lift, and set house on dollies
Cut blocks for plumbing and furnaces
Cut straps for heat duct and plumbing
Maintain acceptable level of quality
Perform all other duties as assigned
Sign traveler after work has been completed
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must be at least 18 years old
