About the Role: With in-house training and ongoing support, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about flooring and loves providing outstanding customer service. As a Customer Service Flooring Specialist, you’ll support the overall success of our flooring department through merchandising, inventory management, and point-of-sale operations.

You’ll help our guests select the right flooring solutions, ensure the department is well-stocked and visually appealing, process purchase orders, and operate our point-of-sale systems with accuracy and professionalism. Your focus will be on creating a positive experience from consultation through to completion.

Reporting to the hardware manager you’ll be involved in:

• Help guests with general inquiries regarding flooring and products they need for their projects.
• Inspect the quality of products and received orders
• Maintain inventory control for the flooring department
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and suppliers as needed
• Maintain store cleanliness and shelf displays
• Train and mentor junior team members
• Process client orders and create product numbers and PO’s for specialty order requests
• Proven ability to lead or supervise small teams in a retail environment
• Highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• WHMIS or other safety certifications are an asset
