General Summary: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all floor surfaces within assigned work location. Will use various floor machines and equipment including but not limited to; vacuums, mop and bucket, floor scrubber both automatic and manual, floor buffers and burnishers. Hard surface floors will be maintained daily along with routine maintenance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs all types of floor care and maintenance throughout the facility, including hard surfaces and carpeting.
• Stripping and waxing.
• Top scrub and recoat.
• Able to identify the various floor pads and the correct usage of each
• Adhere to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards and promote a culture of safety.
• Clean and performs routine maintenance and floor equipment.
• Maintains accurate floor care logs and checklists.
• Operates all equipment with care and according to facility and manufacturers safety standards and procedures.
• Performs project work and specialty tasks according to facility needs. Can include tasks such as conference room set up/dismantle, cleaning of stairwells and elevators.
• Performs other duties as assigned or necessary as they relate to the general nature of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience - minimum of 5 years of housekeeping experience and 2 years floor tech experience.
Regulatory:
◦ Minimum 18 years of age.
◦ Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
◦ CPR, First Aid & AED certification, if required (must possess upon hire and maintain throughout employment).
◦ Current, valid Arizona Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration and liability insurance to meet company insurance requirements, if required.
◦ Negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).
◦ Responsible for maintaining all required employment documentation, certifications and licensure, and for ensuring that applicable documentation is renewed in a timely manner.
