We are currently seeking a Full-Time Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining beautiful floors and common spaces while working independently in a professional environment.
What You'll Do:
• Perform routine floor care throughout the community
• Operate floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, extractors, and scrubbers
• Strip, wax, buff, and refinish hard surface flooring
• Perform carpet cleaning and extraction as needed
• Complete floor restoration and special project work
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and resident spaces
• Respond to Environmental Services requests in a timely manner
• Maintain equipment and supplies in proper working condition
• Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Assist with special events setup and cleanup as needed

QualificationsJOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in floor maintenance preferred.
- Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe.
- Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly and be tactful in dealing with others.
