You’ll help maintain a clean and welcoming environment at Southminster.
- Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, and metal surfaces to keep the community looking its best.
- Remove trash, deliver soiled linens, and support event set-up and teardown.
- Respond to spills and other cleaning needs as requested.
- Care for assigned equipment and report repair needs for furniture, fixtures, and building items.
- Follow safety procedures during emergencies and support assigned duties as needed.
- Work in a way that reflects Southminster’s C.A.R.E. (Centered Around Residents’ Experience) First! philosophy and attendance expectations.
Minimum experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of floor technician experience
- Knowledge of stripping and finishing, burnishing, scrubbing, light carpet extraction, deep carpet extraction, and upholstery extraction.
Additional experience:
- Experience working in a senior living community
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., occasional weekends
- 2nd Shift: 3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., occasional weekends
