The Floor Tech is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment throughout Community. This role supports the health, dignity, and well-being of our residents by ensuring cleaning services meet facility standards, regulatory requirements, and infection control protocols.

Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Experience in health care facility housekeeping preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and safe use of floor cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Understanding infection control and universal precautions in a healthcare or residential setting.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and transport supplies or equipment and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Dependability and flexibility to adapt to facility scheduling needs.
• Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, confidentiality, and a safe living environment.

Essential Functions
• Perform specialized floor care throughout the community, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, polishing, and refinishing hard surface floors according to established schedules and quality standards.
• Clean, maintain, and spot treat carpets and rugs using appropriate equipment and cleaning methods; complete scheduled deep-cleaning projects in resident and common areas
• Operate, maintain, and properly store floor care equipment, cleaning machines, and related tools, reporting equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly.
• Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasks related to floor care, prioritizing projects based on operational needs and resident safety.
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas by removing trash, cleaning hallways and public spaces, and providing additional housekeeping support during special projects or as operational needs require.
• Follow all safety procedures, infection prevention practices, chemical handling guidelines, and OSHA standards while ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and team members to provide quality service.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including HIPAA and the Code of Conduct, completing required training and reporting concerns promptly
