Porpuse

The Coach Floor Supervisor is responsible for mentoring, coaching, and supporting production employees to promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment. This role serves as a hands-on leader on the production floor, helping new and existing employees develop their skills, follow company procedures, and achieve performance expectations. The Coach Floor Supervisor works closely with team members and management to ensure daily operations run smoothly, production goals are met, food safety and quality standards are maintained, and employees receive the guidance and support needed for success.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Manufacturing, Food Science, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • HACCP Certification preferred; equivalent food safety training considered an asset.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing, meat processing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • Experience with HACCP, SQF, SSOP, USDA regulations, and food safety programs preferred.
  • Prior experience in production coordination, team leadership, employee coaching, inventory control, and quality assurance strongly preferred.
  • Experience onboarding new employees, conducting training, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback is highly desirable.
  • Experience conducting safety inspections, employee training, and compliance monitoring is an asset.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with inventory management systems, production reporting, and manufacturing documentation preferred.
  • Ability to analyze production data and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to track employee progress, training completion, and operational performance metrics.

Languages

  • Spanish required.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, management, and regulatory personnel.

Work Schedule

  • Full-time position.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended shifts as required by business needs.
  • Availability to support multiple shifts and respond to operational needs outside of regular business hours when necessary.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a food production and warehouse environment.
  • Frequent exposure to refrigerated and cold-temperature conditions in a controlled-temperature environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 80 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and repetitive motion activities.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all food safety and workplace safety policies.

  • Work is performed at the company's production facility.
  • Occasional travel between company locations or training sites may be required.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Provide real-time feedback, guidance, and performance coaching to employees.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and management to resolve operational issues and improve productivity.
  • Monitor attendance, work performance, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Support inventory control, production documentation, and operational reporting requirements.
  • Assist in achieving production targets while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for employees needing assistance, direction, or support during their shifts.
