Position Title

Floor Machine TechnicianNights - Full Time15000 S. Quivira Rd., Bell Hospital

Career Interest:

The Floor Machine Tech is a person who can perform all the tasks of a Housekeeper and has the skills and ability to perform floor care work such as floor maintenance, hard surface floor refinishing and carpet and upholstery cleaning at the satellite locations. Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
  • Performs all the tasks of the Housekeeper I and II positions at a satellite location. Responsible for daily corridor maintenance, consisting of dust mopping, spot mopping and auto scrubbing corridors and lobby areas.
  • Strip and refinish all types of hard surface floors. Scrub and refinish all types of hard surface floors.
  • Spot clean and extract all types of carpeted surfaces and upholstery at a satellite location.
  • Operate housekeeping equipment such as walk behind and riding auto scrubbers safety and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
  • Cleans equipment before returning it to the storage area.
  • Reports safety hazards as well as equipment in need of repair.
  • May have other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience

  • 1 or more years of housekeeping experience.


Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Graduate or GED.


Required Language Skills

  • Fluent English - Must be able to read and speak English.


Knowledge Requirements

  • Must be able to operate hand-held communication devices for communication with dispatch.
  • Ability to perform operations with units such as cup, pint, quart and ounce as well as inch, foot and yard.
