Carlson Building Maintenance is hiring a Floor Care Technician in Plymouth, MN. In this role, you'll maintain hard floors and carpets in a large retail environment while learning professional floor care techniques and operating specialized cleaning equipment.

No floor care experience? We can train the right candidate.

Location: Plymouth, MN

Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour

• Weekly Pay on Friday

Shift Schedule:

• 3:30 AM - 12:00 PM
• Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)
• Consistent 5-Day Schedule
• Monday & Tuesday Off
• Weekend Availability Required
• Early Shift - Enjoy Your Afternoons Free

What You'll Do

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other floor care equipment
• Clean and maintain hard floor surfaces through scrubbing, buffing, and routine maintenance
• Vacuum, shampoo, bonnet, and extract carpeted areas
• Perform restroom and general cleaning duties as needed
• Follow safety procedures and equipment guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Complete assigned cleaning projects independently and efficiently

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation required
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
• Ability to push and pull cleaning equipment
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Previous cleaning, custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or floor care experience is helpful but not required
