The Flock Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the care, health, and performance of company-owned turkeys on contract grower farms. This role partners closely with contract growers to ensure bird welfare, production goals, biosecurity standards, and operational efficiency while supporting Tyson's commitment to quality, safety, and cost management.
Key Responsibilities:
REQUIREMENTS:
Education Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
Experience 5+ years of livestock or agricultural production experience preferred.
Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and farm management technology.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with growers, management, and cross-functional teams. Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
Special Skills: Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills.
Travel Daily travel to assigned contract farms. Limited overnight travel may be required for training and business meetings.
