Early Childhood Teacher / Floater (Infant, Toddler & Preschool) – $22–$23/hr Location: The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA
Pay: $22–$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About the Role

The Learning Experience – Dedham is hiring a Certified Early Childhood Floater Teacher to support our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms. This is a perfect role for a versatile, experienced childcare or preschool teacher who enjoys working with different age groups and making an impact throughout the school.

You will play a key role in maintaining classroom quality, supporting ratio coverage, and ensuring consistent, high-quality early learning experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Provide classroom support across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool rooms
  
  
• Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and program flow
  
  
• Implement developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
  
  
• Support daily routines including meals, naps, transitions, and learning activities
  
  
• Maintain safe, clean, and engaging classroom environments
  
  
• Partner with teachers and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations
  
  
• Follow all Massachusetts EEC health, safety, and licensing standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC certification for Infant, Toddler, and Preschool required
  
  
• Experience working in a licensed childcare, daycare, or preschool center
  
  
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
  
  
• CPR/First Aid preferred
  
  
• Reliable, flexible, and confident working with multiple age groups
