Your Role at Baxter

Your Team

You will work closely with Production Associates, Technicians, Cell Leaders, and cross-functional teams to support daily manufacturing operations. As a versatile team member, you will provide coverage across multiple production and service areas, helping maintain productivity, quality, and compliance while contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Manufacturing & Operational Support

  • Maintain proficiency and qualification in one of the following:
    • Three to seven production or service positions, or
    • Flow Line operations, or
    • Soldering Technician responsibilities plus one additional position.
  • Follow documented procedures and manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products in accordance with company requirements.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards while maintaining compliance with operational procedures.
  • Provide coverage across production and service lines as needed to support staffing and operational requirements.
  • Adapt quickly to new assignments and support multiple workgroups and departments.
  • Accurately document observations, production data, and non-conformance issues.
  • Identify out-of-specification or out-of-tolerance conditions and take appropriate action according to established procedures.
  • Support Cell Leaders with training activities, employee development, and cross-training initiatives.
  • Assist in monitoring employee performance and process adherence within the department.
  • Help ensure process controls and standard operating procedures are consistently followed.
  • Maintain work area cleanliness and organization in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Quality & Compliance

  • Support continuous compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP requirements, and applicable quality standards.
  • Utilize measurement equipment and inspection tools to verify product and process requirements.
  • Promote quality and compliance through accurate documentation and adherence to established procedures.
  • Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree (AAS) preferred.
  • Strong reading, comprehension, and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to provide leadership and maintain a positive attitude during periods of high production demand.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Working knowledge of measurement equipment and inspection tools.
  • Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Knowledge of FDA cGMP requirements and ANSI/ISO/ASQC quality standards.
  • Ability to recognize and address quality or process concerns.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support training and development of team members.
  • Experience within a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of medical device regulations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, technical service, or related production environments.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit for the majority of the workday.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand movements and detailed assembly work.
  • Ability to lift:
    • Up to 35 pounds from floor to waist level.
    • Up to 23 pounds to shoulder height.
    • Up to 2 pounds from shoulder height to overhead.
  • Ability to work with small components and precision equipment.
