Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor, you will:

  • Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, investigational drugs, and biologics
  • Ensure smooth operations by maintaining inventory, organizing your workspace, and keeping supplies well-stocked and ordered on time
  • Take on various tasks assigned by pharmacy management to help us achieve operational excellence

Hourly Salary Range: $36.49–$48.13 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)

Job Qualifications

We’re seeking a strong pharmacy technician with:

  • Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing
  • Available to work various shifts and locations including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Experience compounding non-hazardous and hazardous preparations
  • Ability to maintain drug inventory and usage log and order drugs as needed to maintain an appropriate supply on hand
  • Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to obtain information and explain procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow technicians, pharmacists, volunteers and individuals in other work areas, and in a high volume under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions
  • Skill in performing repetitive work according to set procedures and sequence
  • Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
