Key Responsibilities • Lead mission scheduling across aircraft, airspace, ranges, maintenance, instrumentation, frequency usage, and support personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and conflict free execution of test operations. • Coordinate closely with government and contractor test teams to integrate resource requirements, deconflict competing demands, and ensure timely availability of aircraft, range assets, munitions, and specialized test equipment. • Support long range strategic scheduling by developing, refining, and presenting planning products, schedule forecasts, resource matrices, and mission timelines for Test Wing leadership. • Monitor high visibility test missions in real time, assess emerging factors (weather, maintenance status, airspace constraints), and resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain safe and effective mission execution. • Oversee production, refinement, and continuous improvement of scheduling tools, processes, and mission documentation while providing technical guidance and mentorship to less senior schedulers. Required Qualifications • More than 10 years of relevant experience in flight operations, mission scheduling, range coordination, or test planning within military aviation environments. • Demonstrated ability to independently manage mission critical scheduling responsibilities and oversee or guide junior staff. • Expert level familiarity with scheduling systems, range coordination processes, aircraft test requirements, and cross organizational resource integration. • Proven experience supporting complex test programs and coordinating multidisciplinary teams. Education & Certification • Master’s degree in an applicable discipline required. Clearance Requirement • Active Top Secret clearance. • U.S. citizenship required.
