We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Flight Coordinator Supervisor to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operational activities including food packing, transportation logistics, production, and dispatch processes.
• Supervise the Flight Coordinators, Food Packers – Flight Checkers, and VIP Charter Teams to ensure timely processing and minimize delays.
• Ensure accurate updates of customer specifications across all relevant departments.
• Maintain operational efficiency, preventing lapses in service and managing any issues that arise during daily activities.
• Train, motivate, and schedule flight coordinator team members to maintain high standards.
• Ensure the quality of products and trolleys meet the highest standards before being delivered to the aircraft crew.
• Conduct regular physical counts to confirm the correct quantity and quality of meals and products.
• Ensure that special meal requests and the correct number of meals are packed and assigned accurately.
• Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and customer care, proposing solutions to increase efficiency.
• Ensure that hygiene and food safety standards are strictly followed at all times.
• Report any issues with the food safety management system to the manager and the hygiene team.
• Maintain professional communication with various channels, ensuring the distribution of operational information to relevant departments.
• Ensure that all production processes, quality standards, deadlines, and accuracy are met for the timely delivery of products to aircraft crews.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a supervisory role within the airline catering or related industry.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Hospitality Management, or Logistics) preffered.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent skills in planning, coordinating, and managing daily operations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to lead and motivate the team effectively.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for scheduling, reporting, and communication tasks.
• Ability to work up to 50% of the day in a refrigerated or cooler environment.
• Ability to work long hours on foot.
• Capability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus but not required.

• Salary range: $66,300 - $80,000 annually.
