About the Role
We are looking for a FlexeraOne Administrator to support the day-to-day administration and operations of the FlexeraOne FNMS SaaS platform This role is responsible for monitoring platform health, supporting agent and beacon operations, handling incidents, validating integrations, and ensuring stable and compliant software asset management processes.
The ideal candidate will work closely with senior administrators and Software Asset Management (SAM) teams to maintain platform performance, support operational activities, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily health of the FlexeraOne tenant, beacons, and inventory collection processes.
- Manage and resolve L2 incidents related to agent failures, scanning issues, and inventory discrepancies.
- Perform user administration, including provisioning, role assignments, and access reviews.
- Monitor and validate ITSM/CMDB integrations (e.g., ServiceNow) and inventory data flows.
- Implement configuration changes following change management and RFC processes.
- Support data ingestion and validation from procurement and contract management systems.
- Generate operational reports, SLA dashboards, and tool health metrics.
- Troubleshoot agent deployments and support version upgrades.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Perform beacon maintenance, patching, and upgrade activities.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and cloud teams for beacon-related support activities.
- Manage incidents and service requests through ITSM platforms.
- Participate in release validation and post-release smoke testing activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of IT experience with at least 2 years of hands-on experience administering FlexeraOne/FNMS
- Experience with Flexera SaaS tenant administration and beacon management.
- Hands-on knowledge of Flexera agents, scanning mechanisms, and inventory data flows.
- Experience with ITSM/CMDB integrations, particularly ServiceNow
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft, Oracle, and Adobe software licensing.
- Experience working within ITIL-based incident management processes.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic SQL
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau reporting tools.
- Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell
- Exposure to procurement systems such as Coupa or Ariba
- Understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles.
- Knowledge of software inventory and discovery tools.
Preferred Certifications
- Flexera Certified Administrator (Associate Level)
- ITIL v4 Foundation
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent
