JOB SUMMARY

The FLEX Senior Director, Change Management, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement is a key member of the Business Transformation Office team responsible for creating and executing change management, communications and engagement plans for a portfolio of transformation initiatives.

The FLEX Senior Director, Change Management, Communications and Stakeholder Engagement is both strategic and proactive and self-motivated leader and advisor as well as a detail-oriented and hands-on team player who will document and assess changes related to the initiatives they support and design, plan and execute related communications deliverables.

This role will partner closely with colleagues throughout the entire Transformation Office – including (but not limited to) PMO, Deployment, Experience + Business Process Design, and Continent Engagement – as well as teams across the enterprise to design, build and execute thoughtful and effective change management plans in service Success in this role requires strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, a proven ability to manage multiple work efforts at the same time, as well as a willingness to be tested on difficult and time-sensitive requests.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university AND 10+ years of relevant professional experience in a related function demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance OR
  • 15+ years of relevant professional experience delivering transformation programs for complex, multi-national organizations, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing clear, concise and effective written business communications
  • Demonstrated ability to document and assess change impacts for a diverse set of impacted stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity
  • Strong personal leadership, organizational, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding formal and informal presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results under difficult conditions, particularly when faced with complexity and ambiguity
  • Ability to gain an in-depth understanding of an initiative and represent it to various constituencies across the organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, service-intensive, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to be detailed oriented, while maintaining alignment with broader organization objectives
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and many stakeholders
  • Ability to inspire and maintain the confidence of senior management in the change strategy, approach and plan
  • Excellent project and time management skills

  • Mastery of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel applications

Preferred

  • Master’s degree
  • Previous experience in consulting to business leaders, providing communication, change management or deployment support
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Change Management Strategy + Plan:

  • Partners with Vice President and key colleagues to develop a comprehensive change management strategy and plan.
  • Executes change management strategy and plan working closely with Deployment, Learning and Continent and other teams to meet defined success measures.
  • Develops a wide variety or high-quality change communications resources (e.g., core message materials; how-to resources, emails, webinars, video scripts, website content, etc.).
  • Identifies, proposes solutions for and manages resolution of issues and risks to change management plan.
  • Provides timely updates to senior executives.
  • Facilitates meetings and executive-level sponsor reviews to ensure alignment and approval of change management activities.
  • Develops approach and cadence for program quick wins as well as recognizing positive behaviors.
  • Builds new and innovative recognition platform and campaigns to celebrate associate’s progress along the journey.
  • Leverages forums for listening to what’s going well and what’s not – ensuring both celebrations and pain points are addressed.

Change Management Measurement and Analytics

  • Monitors, detects and manages change readiness and adoption through the change journey.
  • Executes change readiness survey; compiles results and applies learnings to change management strategy and plans iteratively.
  • Creates a change management scorecard in partnership with deployment and learning to help identify wins and challenges with change adoption.
  • Monitors and identifies impacts from analytics and provides recommendations to help steer program in the right direction.

Leading Team

  • Fosters a team environment that encourages accountability, high standards and innovation.
  • Establishes best practices, methods, processes, tools, and templates for successful execution of communications efforts
  • Makes sure others understand performance expectations.
  • Ensures that goals are being translated to the team as they relate to tracking and productivity.
