Compass Health Center is seeking a Flex Primary Clinical Therapist for our new Clinical Flex Team.

We are currently building a Clinical Flex Team comprised of experienced and adaptable clinicians who have worked with a range of diverse populations in varying roles. This exciting opportunity will meet the needs of our growing organization and its changing needs while also creating unique experiences for clinicians to develop skills in multiple clinical areas.

We are seeking experienced therapists with a passion for delivering evidenced-based therapy to patients in all age groups we serve with various presenting issues. If you are flexible and ready to build on your already impressive skillset, you would be an ideal addition to our team.

This is a full-time position that is Monday thru Friday with the specific schedule based on the organization’s needs. You will be “deployed” to our programs based on our patient census and individual program needs. You must be willing to travel to either our Chicago or Northbrook location as necessary.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Complete initial intake evaluation to determine diagnosis and appropriateness of program
  • Provide group and individual therapy
  • Provide family therapy as needed
  • Facilitate frequent communication with patients’ family members or support system
  • Coordinate care with patients’ outside providers to ensure continuity of care
  • For our under 18 programming, communicate with patients’ home school and attend school re-entry meetings
  • Create individualized weekly schedules for each patient based on need
  • Assess patients’ progress and need for higher level of care, transition plan and/or discharge
  • Chart progress of patients appropriately
  • Complete administrative documentation (initial treatment plans/updates, discharges, attendance, research)
  • Provide insurance utilization team with updates

You would be the ideal candidate if you:

  • Hold the following licenses or certifications PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCPC or LCSW
  • 3 + years of post master’s experience is required including working with children, adolescents, adults and families
  • Have a core skill set of CBT and DBT and prior experience working in a partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program are preferred.
  • Are innovative, organized, have an excellent work ethic, are passionate about patient care, and have the ability to lead and work collaboratively with others
  • Are a motivated and dynamic clinician and can work effectively with families in crisis
  • Are flexible and interested in working with multiple age groups and patients with varying diagnoses
