Could you be the full-time onsite Fleet Support Engineer (Electrical/Electronics) we’re looking for?

This role can be based inone our other locations: Pittsburgh, PA, DFW (Dallas/Fortworth), Altanta, GA, Denver, CO, or South San Francisco area (near SFO airport) in California.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your electrical and electronic engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll enhance the electrical reliability, safety, and performance of APM (Automated People Mover) vehicles and wayside systems, making a tangible impact on transportation solutions. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (software, signaling, and systems engineers), provide technical support for troubleshooting and upgrades, and ensure compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing and validating electrical/electronic engineering solutions for APM vehicles,
  • Preparing and managing engineering change documentation for electrical systems,
  • Providing technical support for troubleshooting and upgrades of electrical subsystems,
  • Collaborating with software, signaling, and systems engineers to ensure integrated solutions,
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations,
  • Functioning as a liaison between Operations & Maintenance Site Engineering and the cognizant APM Design Authority representative,
  • Traveling up to 50% or more, including short-notice assignments,
  • Demonstrating leadership, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset in all aspects of the role.

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field,
  • Proven hands-on experience working with complex automation/control systems, or heavy-industry electrical/electronic systems, or power-plant systems (experience with vehicle electrical systems, signaling, and wayside equipment is desired),
  • Experience or understanding of APM (Automated People Mover), rail, or similar electrical/electronic engineering roles,
  • Familiarity with electrical standards and safety regulations,
  • Strong communication skills for technical justifications and collaboration,
  • Ability to travel 50% or more, including short-notice assignments,
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software, signaling, and systems engineers,
  • Organizational skills for managing engineering change documentation.
