Visy Logistics, located in Park Ridge, is seeking an experienced Fleet Supervisor to lead the operational management of the QLD metro fleet on a 12 month contract. You will play a key role in driving fleet performance, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring service excellence.

The role oversees a team of 15 drivers, manages stakeholder relationships, and apply transport expertise to optimise fleet efficiency. Strong financial acumen is essential for managing operational costs and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Ensure timely and accurate scheduling and allocation of daily fleet operations
• Maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, customers, and drivers
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers regarding planning, runs, and delays
• Conduct proactive assessments to identify opportunities for operational efficiency
• Manage and monitor payroll, driver’s performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing
• Proactively managing sub-contractors and associated costs
• Plan and optimise load distribution using strong analytical and resource planning skills
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance revenue margins and cost accountability

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience in a Fleet Supervisor or Controller role within transport & logistics
• Strong knowledge of OH&S, CoR & NHVR regulations
• Experience with SAP, MT Data, WMS or TMS systems
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
