Responsible for providingexpertisepertaining tofleet operations within and across Core & Main. Manage data from various sources and ensure data integrity. Analyze data and provide ongoing updates forvendorand departmental systemand projects.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Provides daily administration of maintenance, fuel, registration,subrogationand collision programs.
Coordinates the procurement, inspection, assignment, maintenance, repair, and disposal of company-wide fleet.
Coordinates vehicle and equipment transfers.
Drives documentation process and evaluates informationpertaining tofleet.
Arranges for maintenance and repair of transportation vehicles and for replacement units while vehicles are being repaired
Compiles and analyzes data; prepares reports and makes recommendations.
Conducts research on industry trends and benchmarks andreports outto management.
Provides input on policies and procedures related to fleet management.
Conducts/participatesin safety training and ensures compliance with safety regulations.
Provides support for ad hoc requests, projects and assignments for internal customers and vendors, as needed.
PreferredExperience
Familiarity with financial concepts and terminologies used in business.
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may berequiredin some areas.Generally,0-2years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA andgenerally 0-1year of experience in a related field.
