We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivate individual to join the programme as Fleet Planning Manager – Trent 1000.

In this role you will manage fleet level operational planning activity in support of all global Customer Regional Teams ensuring full integration and alignment across the Value Stream and delivery organisations to deliver the Customer and Business requirements in both the short and medium term.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Product Services Managers who are accountable for maintaining the Demand Planning Policy (DPP) and ensure alignment of fleet planning assumptions for input into fleet plans and SIOP.
  • Fleet operational governance & reporting of demand, supply, and overall fleet health through FPR’s and other forums.
  • Create demand plans (removals) in line with engine and customer planning assumptions, optimising them to realise opportunities and meet contractual service levels.
  • Aggregation and optimisation of fleet maintenance plans for allocated fleets.
  • Own and coordinate fleet planning priorities in support of fleet health.
  • Manage customer operational spare & lease engine line of balance and create scenarios to provide insights to the business on opportunities and hazards.
  • Ownership and management of fleet and customer operational risk and mitigation plans.
  • Own and drive lease pool utilisation and the engine exchange plan.
  • Be accountable for MfA data management and own the plan for improving forecast accuracy.
  • Manage and develop a team of Fleet Planners.

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience in airline operations or aftermarket maintenance planning and control.
  • Will have been involved with operational planning and execution.
  • Skilled in interpretation and manipulation of data and information.
  • Will understand the C2C value stream.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
