An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join the Fleet Planning Team in Derby as Fleet Planner.

You will be working closely within the Value Stream to plan engines in accordance with our product strategy, Customer teams on customer requirements and our Aftermarket Operations teams to define and control your plan. The role will give you a great challenge of creative problem solving, operational planning and teamwork skills whilst providing a fantastic exposure to a breadth of business stakeholders across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate the Product, Customer and Contractual requirements and ratify policy necessary to define and implement the Fleet Plan.
  • Develop the Maintenance Demand Plan (Engine Removal Plan).
  • Integrate and Buy-Off Maintenance Demand with Customer, Value Stream and other stakeholders as required.
  • Develop the integrated Fleet Plan through actioning Planning Cycle outcomes, including allocating Lease Engines to ensure the account plans meet all requirements.
  • Support the SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning) process actions and business reviews to ensure alignment and delivery of the SIOP timetable.
  • Develop planning scenarios, based on demand policy or supply variables, and provide, manage and co-ordinate the delivery of the Engine Maintenance Plans (Engine Removal Plans) for a number of Customer (Operator) accounts.
  • Drive delivery of the Engine Removal Events in the accounts to meet our plan requirements and baseline business commitments.
  • Optimise our Fleet Planning Processes.
  • Share best practice and support peer learning to develop our Fleet Planning team as a function.
  • Support Process Development, as required, to improve quality and efficiency within our Fleet Planning operating model.
  • As required, support strategic business improvement initiatives, including the development and deployment of tools and platforms.

Preferred requirements:

  • Ability to work in a multifunctional and multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and a distinct drive for results.
  • Operational planning and programme management experience.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with a good team working ethic.
  • Knowledge of the Services is desirable.
