Job Description

Accountabilities

  • Ensure accurate maintenance and timely updating of vehicle and driver records.
  • Track and manage the replacement of essential vehicle accessories and parts (e.g., jacks, tools, caution signs, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, etc.).
  • Monitor and ensure the timely renewal, distribution, and accurate filing of all vehicle documents (e.g., insurance, roadworthiness, vehicle licenses).
  • Oversee the review and validation of vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring payments are processed within agreed SLAs.
  • Support the initiation and processing of vehicle-related requests on the ERP system for management approval.
  • Coordinate and facilitate monthly driver knowledge-sharing sessions to promote safe and efficient driving practices.
  • Monitor the functionality of tracking devices and engage vendors promptly when maintenance or repairs are required.
  • Support and participate in periodic vehicle audits to ensure compliance with standards and safeguard asset integrity.

Requirements

  • Degree in Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-NYSC experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in computer applications; familiarity with fleet management software and telematics systems.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle operations, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Fleet-related certifications or professional trainings are an added advantage.
