Job Shift: Day Shift/1st Shift

Position Summary: Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all company fleet vehicles, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and complete repairs on all types of vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Complete documentation
- Responds to service calls
- Maintain tools
- Clean work area
- Coordinate and monitor department repair and employee work schedules
- Assist as needed with building maintenance
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned

QualificationsEducation/

Experience:
- High-School Diploma/GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Automotive/Mechanical Trade or Vocational certification preferred
- 1+ years of mechanic experience on light and heavy equipment (i.e. tractor/trailers, forklift, and powered industrial trucks)
- ASE Certification preferred
- Have or be willing to obtain a valid Class A CDL
- Valid driver’s license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines

Work Environment: Shop environment with some parking lot and light roadside work

- Visual and auditory abilities include depth perception and color vision
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling and squatting
- Frequent balancing, climbing, sitting, and reaching
- Ability to lift/carry <75lbs
- Ability to push/pull <75lbs

Work Schedule: M-F with seasonal Saturdays as needed. 7a-4p Negotiable
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour based upon experience
