Vivalon is looking for an A-Level Fleet Mechanic for our Ceres operation
Bring your hands-on shop experience and automotive technology training to help maintain and repair our growing fleet of buses. We provide on-the-job training and support your professional growth through ASE certification opportunities.
In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicle systems, including electronic components, disc brakes, ABS systems, wheelchair lifts, mobile data terminals (MDTs), and drivability systems. You will also be responsible for accurately documenting work performed by creating repair orders, entering data into fleet management software, maintaining shop logs, and completing required compliance reports.
A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred; however, we offer paid training to help the right candidate obtain their CDL. This is a safety-sensitive position and requires successful completion of DOT pre-employment and random drug testing, as well as a background check.
We are open to candidates seeking a flexible schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
