LOCATION: Midland, TX

CONTEXT: Our client is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee a fleet of diesel pickup trucks, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management. This role is responsible for managing the vehicle program, coordinating all maintenance and repairs, tracking performance and downtime, and ensuring strict compliance with company policies and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the vehicle program and lifecycle for a fleet of diesel pickup trucks.
• Coordinate and oversee all maintenance and repairs, working closely with vendors and mechanics.
• Execute and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure operational continuity.
• Track vehicle performance, downtime, and detailed service records.
• Inspect fleet assets regularly to ensure adherence to company safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and industry safety regulations.
• Organize and prioritize service schedules to minimize impact on field operations.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality repairs and cost-effective parts sourcing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a truck fleet supervisory role.
• Associate degree in automotive technology, diesel technology, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in fleet management, specifically with diesel pickup trucks.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel maintenance and preventative maintenance protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex repairs with external vendors and mechanics.
• Strong proficiency in tracking maintenance, inspections, and detailed service records.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
