Job Title: Fleet Supervisor

Department: Operations / Logistics

Reports To: Fleet Manager / Operations Manager

Location: Sharjah

The Fleet Supervisor oversees the daily operations and maintenance of the company vehicle fleet. This role ensures vehicles are properly maintained, compliant with regulations, and optimally utilized. The Fleet Supervisor manages drivers, coordinates maintenance schedules, monitors fuel and operational costs, and maintains safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle dispatch, maintenance, and scheduling.
2. Monitor and enforce driver schedules, routes, and work performance.
3. Ensure all vehicles are maintained in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
4. Coordinate with mechanics and vendors for regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
5. Maintain accurate records of vehicle service history, fuel usage, mileage logs, and incident reports.
6. Enforce safety standards and conduct periodic driver training.
7. Monitor GPS systems and telematics for route efficiency, idle times, and driver behavior.
8. Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of drivers.
9. Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and local transportation regulations.
10. Generate reports on fleet usage, costs, downtime, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in logistics, transportation, or related field preferred.
2. 3+ years of experience in fleet operations or vehicle management.
3. Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
