We are looking for an Operations Professional – Ground & Rail to join our team in Lisbon, supporting the coordination and monitoring of transport and distribution operations.

YOUR ROLE

As an Operations Professional within the Ground & Rail Department, you will support the day-to-day management of transport operations, ensuring service quality, operational accuracy, and effective communication with drivers, agents, transport partners, and internal departments.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Organize transport operations efficiently and according to customer and business requirements;
  • Monitor distribution operations and ensure their smooth execution;
  • Control and validate transport and operational documentation;
  • Identify, verify, and register operational anomalies;
  • Inform and manage drivers regarding priorities and urgent deliveries/pick-ups;
  • Confirm and validate transport lead times and service deadlines;
  • Receive and forward distribution-related information to other internal departments;
  • File and classify customer and carrier documentation;
  • Send operational information to agents and transport partners;
  • Handle operational anomalies and report them to the relevant departments;
  • Confirm deliveries and collections;
  • Update transport and collection information on a daily basis.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Previous experience in transport, distribution, or logistics operations;
  • Knowledge of ground transport operations and distribution processes;
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure in a dynamic environment;
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork spirit;
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and good level of English;
  • Proactive mindset and problem-solving attitude.
