The Fleet Maintenance Technician is a critical member of Woodward Park City's Vehicle Maintenance Team and Operations teams, reporting to the Vehicle Maintenance Manager. The Fleet Maintenance Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on our fleet of on-snow and wheel vehicles. This individual demonstrates attention to detail and completes maintenance and repairs safely and in a timely manner. As a member of the Vehicle Maintenance Team, the individual aims to set high standards for performance and growth. Our fleet is an essential part of our business, and when an issue arises, every moment it's out of service can affect our operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair all Woodward vehicles, including grooming and snow removal equipment, snowmobiles, utility vehicles, and on-road vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely, high-quality repairs to minimize equipment downtime
  • Perform preventative maintenance and proactively identify potential equipment issues
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with Operations and other departments to assess and prioritize fleet needs
  • Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with regulatory, manufacturer, and safety requirements
  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including shop areas and outdoor work zones
  • Work in all weather conditions; overtime may be required to address operation-critical equipment issues
  • Adapt to a rapidly changing environment and learn new equipment, systems, and skills as needed
  • Support broader operations as required

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • 4+ years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy machinery or fleet vehicles
  • Experience with, or strong familiarity in, maintaining snow equipment and on-road vehicles
  • Ability to perform physical job functions in all weather conditions for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as operationally required
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and departments and contribute to shared goals
  • Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and a safety-first mindset
