Job Description

At On Time Ambulance, we’re committed to providing safe and reliable medical transportation services — and that begins with dependable vehicles and well-maintained facilities. We’re looking for a motivated Facilities & Fleet Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our buildings, grounds, and company fleet. This is a hands-on role that’s essential to keeping our operations running smoothly every day.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform general building and grounds maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom cleaning.
  • Handle minor facility repairs such as painting, spackling, replacing light bulbs, and other light maintenance tasks using hand or power tools.
  • Maintain landscaping and grounds: mowing, weeding, pruning, salting/sanding, snow removal, and plowing as needed (snow response is mandatory when activated).
  • Coordinate set-up and breakdown of furniture and equipment for meetings or events.
  • Manage trash and recycling collection, including breaking down cardboard and proper disposal.
  • Support fleet operations by cleaning vehicles, coordinating maintenance, and assisting with DMV recordkeeping or decommissioning as directed.
  • Assist with deliveries, vendor appointments, and company functions.
  • Provide backup field support as needed during high-volume periods.
  • Maintain an organized, professional, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support all company operations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.

Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s educational background, skills, and professional experience. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for clinical certification pay and/or shift differentials.
