We are looking for a compliance and airworthiness specialist to oversee engineering activity within a complex regulatory environment.
You will lead compliance monitoring, provide expert regulatory advice, and ensure engineering operations meet all required standards. Your work will protect approvals, reduce risk, and support safe, reliable operations.

What you'll be doing
- Plan and deliver audits across engineering, maintenance, suppliers, and operational locations
- Conduct on-site, off-site, overseas, and short-notice audits
- Produce clear reports with risk-based recommendations and support regulatory inspections
- Maintain oversight of compliance systems, audit data, and reporting accuracy
- Identify trends, assess risk, and escalate key issues to senior stakeholders
- Support safety management and continuous improvement activity
- Manage engineer authorisation processes, including competency reviews and approval boards
- Ensure licences and approvals are issued and maintained in line with requirements
- Assess and audit maintenance organisations, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Support approval of line stations and operational locations
- Provide regulatory guidance on maintenance, defect resolution, and technical activity
- Act as a subject matter expert on engineering compliance
- Support onboarding, training, and development of team members
- Promote a strong compliance culture across the organisation
What you'll bring
