Could you be the full-time Fleet Deputy Project Director (Onshore Scope) in Riyadh we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and project management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.

You’ll be the representative of the Project Director, focusing on all onshore activities, particularly the integration of a new fleet into existing infrastructures. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including project teams, line managers, and support functions such as finance, legal, and tax), manage customer relationships, and coordinate with external stakeholders such as suppliers and consortium partners. You’ll also drive the execution of the project to meet contractual requirements and customer expectations, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of ensuring project Quality, Cost, Delivery, Planning (QCDP) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance, but also oversee contract management and variation orders.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Optimizing project financial performance (margin and cash) alongside the Project Director
  • Managing customer and external stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements
  • Overseeing the integration of new trains into existing infrastructures
  • Ensuring successful communication between onshore and offshore teams
  • Anticipating and managing key project phases, including testing, commissioning, customer acceptance, and warranty
  • Proactively managing risks, opportunities, and compliance with applicable rules and standards

  • Master’s degree
  • 10 years of experience as a project manager in the railway industry
  • Experience working in and with multinational companies and diverse business cultures
  • Strong project management skills
  • Good communication and team management abilities
  • Leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, and results-oriented approach
  • Good knowledge of railway products and systems
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and advanced negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in conflict and crisis management
  • Strong complexity management skills
