The Fleet Commercial and Leasing Manager will be at the forefront of our team’ efficiency and is responsible for planning and delivering light vehicle requirements and leasing activities. This multifaceted role involves a variety of key responsibilities encompassing business development, Commercial engagement of leasing providers, Light Vehicle delivery, project management, change management, Continuous improvement and leadership, while fostering positive change

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and execute Commercial master lease agreements.
  • Use networks, systems, and structure to provide effective Fleet solutions to end users.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and communicating forecasts to ensure product is available at the appropriate times
  • Oversee the supply of Fleet assets, ensuring compliance with standards, and organise user and supplier training
  • Planning the Annual fleet replacements and producing Fleet selection guides detailing standard build selections and pricing.
  • Deliver accurate data and reporting to stakeholders.

We are seeking a customer-centric individual with strong business acumen; you will be someone who can effectively understand stakeholder needs while driving business success. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills with a focus on safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel); Power BI knowledge is an advantage
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent professional accounting qualification would be highly regarded
  • Experience within the leasing space with a strong understanding of lease terms and arrangements would be advantageous
  • Experience in fleet management for large, national fleets
  • Strong Business acumen and analytical financial skills
  • Proven track record in developing successful relationships with customers and major suppliers.
  • Clear understanding of positive leadership behaviours and strong and successful collaborative relationships with peers in a corporate environment.
  • Qualifications in project management or change management would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills for the analysis of trend and fleet performance
