The Fleet & Equipment Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, operational management, and compliance of all company vehicles and field equipment across Triage Partners’ three operating entities. This role is critical to supporting 400+ field technicians deployed across 21 states and ensuring the reliability, availability, and cost efficiency of a growing fleet. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in fleet operations, asset lifecycle management, and vendor negotiation, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications:
Required
•3+ years of fleet management experience, preferably in field services, utilities, telecom, or construction
•Demonstrated experience managing a fleet of 100+ vehicles across multiple locations
•Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA compliance requirements
•Experience with fleet management software (e.g., Samsara or similar)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fleet cost reporting
•Proven vendor negotiation and contract management skills
•Experience with budget management and cost analysis
•Ability to travel periodically to field operations in key markets (CA, TX, FL, OK, CO, MN, KS, etc.)
Preferred
•Experience supporting a PE-backed or high-growth company through rapid scaling, including fleet and equipment onboarding in M&A integration scenarios
•Familiarity with ERP systems and asset management modules
•Background in captive insurance or commercial auto claims management
•Experience managing both light-duty and heavy-duty/specialty construction equipment
•Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field(s)
