  • Working knowledge of TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, torch on, and built-up roofing systems
  • Familiarity with waterproofing and building envelope principles
  • Working at Heights certification and valid WHMIS training, or willingness to obtain before start
  • Ability to read basic drawings and specs and follow installation details accurately

Attributes

  • You take pride in a clean, watertight install and do not cut corners to save time
  • You are comfortable working at heights and in changing weather conditions
  • You communicate clearly with your crew and foreman about progress and problems on site
  • You show up reliably and are ready to work as part of a team from day one
  • You stay alert to safety on site and look out for the people working alongside you

  • Set up and operate roofing equipment including torches, kettles, and hoisting equipment safely
  • Coordinate material handling and staging on site with the crew and foreman
  • Identify and flag deficiencies, leaks, or substrate issues before they become bigger problems
