Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail and service. We have moved into our Brand New State of the Art Facility and l ooking for Experienced Flat-Rate/Flag Mercedes-Benz Service Technicians to work with our Quality Dealership, representing the Quality of the Mercedes-Benz Product!

All of our Service Technicians should be passionate about customer service, take pride in their work, an enjoy being part of a winning team that cares about their employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
  • Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6-months of Flag/Flat-Rate Automotive Technician experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record
  • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
