We are currently hiring a full-time Flat Rate Service Technician to support our growing service department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive technician to advance their career with a company that has been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for multiple years.As a Flat Rate Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide variety of vehicle systems while delivering high-quality workmanship in an efficient manner. Successful candidates will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems to identify and resolve vehicle concerns
- Perform factory-recommended maintenance services and vehicle inspections
- Accurately document repair orders, findings, and completed work
- Communicate repair needs and recommendations with service advisors and management
- Maintain productivity and efficiency while ensuring quality workmanship
- Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology and manufacturer requirements

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
- Previous automotive technician experience required
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
- ASE Certifications preferred but not required
- Manufacturer certifications are a plus
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools, scan tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, flat-rate environment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
- Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair
