Fixed-Term Project and Service Delivery Manager Belgian AI Factory Antenna

What you will do

Imec is hiring for a temporary assignment on its own payroll. This is a fixed-term employment contract with imec, not a freelance or interim assignment through an agency.

The Belgian AI Factory Antenna (“antenna”) provides companies, research institutions and public administrations with

• Expert services for developing and deploying large-scale AI models,
• Access to AI-optimized computing infrastructure in AI Factories in Europe
• Access to high-quality, interoperable datasets, and
• Training on using the infrastructure and the datasets.

The consortium of the antenna unites 23 leading research centers, universities and public institutions from four distinct ecosystems—Flanders, Wallonia, Brussels-Capital, and the Federal State. Imec coordinates the Belgian AI Factory Antenna. The antenna is a 3-year European project and started in April 2026.

As Project and Service Delivery Manager of the Belgian AI Factory Antenna, you are responsible for the successful project management and service delivery of the Antenna.
You will work closely together with the Antenna director and the consortium partners of the Antenna, and you will engage in the AI ecosystem with companies and organizations.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the Service Delivery. This includes 1/ continuing the set up of the service delivery and management process: setting up an ordering framework with a services portal and deploying a business management platform and 2/ coordinating the assessment of customer AI needs, and the referral to an Antenna service or to external partners together with the account managers and technical staff of the consortium partners. Ensuring high-quality and timely service delivery is the key goal. This will require setting up a fluent and effective collaboration with the AI Factories and the technical services staff. The service delivery process will need to align seamlessly with the customer management process. As service delivery lead, you will also need to give input for the communication and participate in events.
• Leading the Project Office, supporting the successful operational execution of the Belgian AI Factory Antenna in close collaboration with the Antenna director and consortium partners. Tasks include administrative management, quality assurance and risk management, KPI and indicator measurement and reporting.

Who you are

  experience and by setting up efficient service delivery processes.
• Your service management skills and your project
  management skills are on point.
• You have an affinity with the creation of AI
  applications and/or the training of (large-scale) AI models and/or the use
  of supercomputers.
• You foster collaboration. You are confident in
  managing relations across various stakeholders: companies, research
  centers, AI experts, in Belgium and internationally.
• You have strong communication skills in English.
