We are looking for a motivated, detail-focused Control Room Operator to join our Safety and Security team. In this role, you will work closely with the Shift Supervisor to monitor and operate CCTV, access control, and alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of people, venues, and assets. You will follow procedures and best practices while responding calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

He kōrero mōu: About you
You will be highly motivated with strong observation and problem-solving skills. You have a strong understanding of security principles, best practices, and procedures. Familiarity with various security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. You will enjoy working as part of a wider team of security personnel with a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
In addition:
You will need to either hold a Certificate of Approval (COA) and/or an NZQA National Certificate in Security (Level 3) or are you willing and able to obtain them if appointed. The cost for this will be re- imbursed to you when hired. (Please only enrol for this if you have been confirmed as the selected candidate after discussions with the hiring manager).
This role may require work outside normal business hours, so you will need to have reliable transport and be comfortable working shifts.
If hired, you will need to:
Have the right to work in New Zealand already
Have 2 positive past references
Have a clear MOJ (Ministry of Justice) check
Pass a drug and alcohol test

The salary for this role is between NZ $57,000 and NZ $78,000 based on skillset and experience. (Band D)
