In this role, we are seeking an experienced eTrading Fixed Income platform engineer. You will partner with the team to lead delivery for eTrading applications and drive the technology execution for existing applications and new offerings that the Repo global business can onboard to improve efficiencies and meet long term goals. This leader will partner with Technology, Trading, Sales, Product, Risk, and Operations to define the future eTrading platform and automation flows for Repo trading in the firm.
To be successful as a Fixed Income eTrading Platform Engineer - VP, you should have:
Extensive experience in financial services technology, with significant experience in front-office electronic trading for Fixed Income
Deep Java engineering experience (including concurrency/multi-threading and performance optimization for real-time systems)
Proven experience designing and delivering applications involving Java, Spring Boot, middleware/messaging, databases, API engineering, caching, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines
Ample communication skills with the ability to translate between desk outcomes and engineering execution
Lead delivery for real-time eTrading applications and drive strategy across different business teams
Other highly valued skills include:
Considerable preference for repo / fixed income financing / securities finance
Knowledge of current third-party / off-the-shelf platforms which can assist you to drive the eTrading / automation strategy
Experience with D2C/D2D fixed-income market connectivity and protocols
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in our New York, New York office.
Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
