Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive person with a strong interest in financial markets studying your 3rd year? Would you like to gain unique insight into the Nordic Fixed Income markets and work in the intersection of finance and technology? Then this is an opportunity for you!

At Nasdaq, you'll have the chance to launch your career at the heart of the Nordic financial markets covering Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm. As a Student worker analyst on the Nordic Fixed Income Team in Copenhagen, you'll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of fixed income instruments - from government and corporate bonds to structured products and retail investment solutions. You will contribute to our work to develop and strengthen a thriving fixed income market.

You don't need to know everything on day one — we'll help you build the skills, confidence, and network to grow. If you're curious about financial markets, love working with data, and want to be part of a collaborative, international team, this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze and interpret financial and statistical data to support reporting for management, regulators, and issuers.
  • Assist the team in extracting data and prepare analyses from internal databases and external vendors
  • Handle time-sensitive client and investor inquiries with accuracy and care.
  • Contribute to market research on trading patterns and product trends across the Nordic markets.
  • Support the team with tasks related to finance, accounting, strategy, updating process descriptions, website development and maintenance.
  • Work with ongoing invoicing of trading, listing and technical services.
  • Support process improvements, including identifying opportunities for automation and greater efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Master degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, on your final Bachelor year.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Experience using Microsoft office and interest in tech
  • Genuine interest for capital markets
  • Great communicator both verbal and written in English and fluent in at least one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian).
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking the initiative while managing multiple tasks at once.
  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, international environment.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with business intelligence or reporting tools (SAP Business Objects).
  • Prior exposure to capital markets or financial technology through internships or part-time job

Please submit your cover letter and CV as one merged PDF in English. The start date is as soon as possible, and the application deadline is September 11th. If you have any questions about the role or the process, please contact jesper.brams@nasdaq.com

We look forward to hearing from you!
